A Critical Moment to Act
This is a defining moment in the fight against Ebola in Uganda.
The number of confirmed cases keeps souring—and the risk of rapid spread is real. Acting now can prevent a much larger crisis.
We urgently need to:

- Expand access to protective equipment and medical supplies
- Strengthen awareness and early detection across communities
The choices made today will shape what happens next.

Preventing the Next Wave
By Zachery Onyango | Project Leader
Preventing the Next Wave
Containing the current Ebola cases is only part of the challenge—preventing a second wave is just as critical.
We are focused on:
- Monitoring contacts over time to ensure no new chains of transmission emerge
- Maintaining strong surveillance systems even after initial cases are contained
- Continuing community education to reinforce prevention practices
Outbreaks can resurge if vigilance drops too soon. Let's join hands in ensuring community safety and health among rural communities in Uganda in the fight against Ebola outbreak. This is timely and urgent for effective control and management in containing the surge
Your continued support ensures that we don’t just respond—we stay ahead of the virus.
