Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generosity, we continue supporting preparedness among communities connected by movement, trade, family relationships, and transport routes.
The current DRC outbreak has expanded geographically, including into Haut-Uélé, where Dungu Health Zone borders South Sudan. WHO has warned that such geographic expansion increases concerns about cross-border transmission.
This makes community preparedness particularly important around border routes and busy transport points.
Our approach promotes accurate information, hygiene, early reporting, responsible movement, and cooperation with health authorities.
People living and working in border communities should not be left behind during a health emergency.
Your support is helping strengthen a protective network across communities whose lives and livelihoods connect them across borders.
