Dear Donor,
Accurate information remains one of the most important tools available during an Ebola emergency.
With thousands of confirmed cases and deaths recorded in the DRC, communities need reliable information that helps them understand risks without creating unnecessary fear.
Development Alert continues promoting health messages focused on hygiene, early reporting, appropriate healthcare seeking and cooperation with trained health workers.
We also encourage people to question rumors and verify health information through trusted sources.
Misinformation can discourage people from seeking care, encourage unsafe practices and create stigma against affected families or communities.
Our approach is therefore based on clear, respectful and practical communication.
The objective is to help people understand what they can do rather than simply telling them what to fear.
Your support helps us strengthen community knowledge and confidence during this challenging public health emergency.
