Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue promoting community practices that reduce exposure risks while respecting the dignity of affected families.
During Ebola outbreaks, funeral practices and contact with deceased persons can become important areas of concern. Communities therefore need clear information about safe practices and the importance of working with trained response teams.
Our community engagement efforts encourage families to seek guidance from health authorities and trained responders when deaths occur under circumstances that may involve Ebola exposure.
WHO has highlighted the importance of respectful and dignified burials as part of the wider response, particularly where misinformation, fear, and limited access to services complicate outbreak control.
Your support helps promote both safety and dignity during some of the most difficult moments families can experience.
