Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generosity, we continue promoting infection-prevention practices in schools and learning environments.
Schools provide an important opportunity to teach children practical health habits that can also reach their families. We encourage regular handwashing, accurate health information, early reporting of illness, and appropriate communication with teachers and health workers.
Our approach also emphasizes compassion. Children should not be stigmatized because they or their families may have been exposed to an infectious disease.
Although Uganda has completed its 42-day countdown and declared its 2026 Bundibugyo virus disease outbreak over, active transmission continues in the DRC, making regional preparedness important.
Your support is helping schools become centers of prevention, awareness, and resilience.
