Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are strengthening awareness of the importance of community-based early warning.
Families and local leaders can sometimes notice unusual illnesses or clusters before information reaches formal health structures. Encouraging people to report concerns promptly can help create an important bridge between communities and surveillance systems.
Our awareness efforts encourage people to communicate health concerns through appropriate channels rather than relying on rumors or social media speculation.
WHO describes surveillance as one of the principal lines of defence in the current DRC outbreak because it enables rapid detection of alerts, investigation of suspected cases, and monitoring of contacts.
Your support helps communities become more alert, informed, and prepared to contribute to early detection.
