Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue bringing Ebola prevention messages closer to families and communities.
Effective prevention does not depend only on large health facilities or emergency response teams. Families need practical information that helps them recognize risks, maintain good hygiene, report concerning illness, and seek appropriate assistance.
Our community-centered approach focuses on making prevention understandable and achievable. We encourage families to discuss health concerns openly, avoid misinformation, and cooperate with health workers when follow-up or investigation is required.
The continuing outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo demonstrates why this work remains important. As of 29 September, 8,224 confirmed Bundibugyo virus disease cases had been reported in the DRC, with 3,982 deaths.
Your support is helping transform Ebola prevention from a distant public-health message into practical action within households.
