Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue working to strengthen confidence in appropriate healthcare during the Ebola response.
Fear can sometimes make people reluctant to visit health facilities, particularly when communities associate healthcare settings with Ebola exposure. Building trust is therefore an important part of outbreak control.
We encourage families to seek professional advice when they are concerned about symptoms or possible exposure and to follow guidance from qualified health workers.
WHO has emphasized that rapid recognition, testing, and appropriate supportive care can reduce mortality while improving community acceptance of healthcare services.
Our goal is to help communities understand that seeking care early is an act of protection—not something to fear.
Your support is helping build stronger relationships between communities and the healthcare systems they depend upon.
