Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, the knowledge and systems strengthened through Ebola preparedness are creating benefits that extend beyond the current outbreak.
Hand hygiene, early health-seeking behavior, community surveillance, accurate health communication, and cooperation with healthcare providers are valuable during many infectious disease emergencies.
Our goal is therefore to help communities build lasting resilience rather than temporary responses that disappear once an outbreak ends.
Uganda's successful completion of its Ebola response period demonstrates what sustained surveillance and response capacity can achieve, while continued transmission in the DRC reinforces the need for regional preparedness.
Your contribution is helping communities develop knowledge and practices that can protect them against future health emergencies as well.
