Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue promoting understanding of contact follow-up as an essential public-health protection measure.
People identified as contacts may experience fear or worry about being monitored. Communities can make this process easier by offering practical support and avoiding stigma.
Our awareness activities explain why follow-up matters and encourage families to cooperate with health teams.
The scale of contact monitoring demonstrates the importance of community participation. WHO reported that more than 32,000 contacts required follow-up during one recent reporting period, with 26,980 successfully monitored during the preceding 24 hours.
Your support helps strengthen the community trust needed to make contact follow-up effective.
