By Zachery Onyango | Project Leader
Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we are helping communities turn the difficult lessons of the Ebola response into stronger preparedness for the future.
The current Bundibugyo virus disease outbreak has demonstrated the importance of early detection, reliable health information, infection prevention, contact tracing, community engagement, safe care-seeking, and cross-border preparedness.
WHO reports that the DRC outbreak has continued to expand geographically while transmission varies significantly between provinces and health zones.
These lessons should not disappear when the emergency eventually subsides.
Our goal is to strengthen community knowledge and preparedness so that people are better equipped to respond to future health threats.
Your support is creating more than an emergency response—it is helping build stronger, more informed, and more resilient communities for tomorrow.
