Thank you for standing with vulnerable families in Lebanon during one of the most severe healthcare collapses in the country’s history. As the economic crisis deepens, families are being forced into impossible decisions—delaying urgent surgeries, rationing medications, and going without essential treatments because costs have become unaffordable.

Through American Aid (A A Relief), this urgent appeal is designed to fund life-saving medical interventions—critical cardiac surgeries, cancer treatments, kidney dialysis, and other essential procedures—so that the most vulnerable patients are not denied care simply because they are poor.

Progress Update (This Quarter)

This quarter, the campaign remains in the early stage of fundraising. We are deeply grateful to the 4 donors who have helped raise $265 toward our $50,000 goal.

While current funding is not yet sufficient to deliver medical interventions at the scale required, we used this period to maintain readiness and strengthen our ability to act quickly as support grows. Our focus this quarter included:

• Continuing assessment of urgent medical needs in Lebanon as costs rise and access declines
• Strengthening coordination pathways with local healthcare contacts to support rapid deployment when funding allows
• Refining documentation and reporting processes to ensure transparent updates on cases supported, treatments funded, and outcomes achieved

Community Need & Why This Project Matters

Lebanon’s healthcare system is under extreme strain:

• Public hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced.
• Essential medications and supplies are increasingly scarce.
• Families cannot afford critical surgeries and treatments, even when delay can mean loss of life.

This project exists because medical care should not be a privilege. For families already crushed by inflation and unemployment, timely support can be the difference between life and death.

Program Model (What Funding Will Deliver)

As funding grows, American Aid (A A Relief) will support critical medical relief through:

• Life-saving surgeries and treatments for urgent cases
• Essential medications for patients who cannot afford prescriptions
• Critical hospital equipment and supplies to strengthen care capacity

We will prioritize the most urgent cases and provide transparent reporting on how funds are used and what outcomes are achieved.

Challenges & Strategic Response

Primary Challenge: Funding remains far below what is needed to begin supporting a meaningful number of critical cases.

Our response:

• Maintaining case readiness so we can deploy quickly when funding increases
• Strengthening relationships and coordination with healthcare contacts to support verification and prioritization
• Improving documentation to build donor confidence through clear, accountable reporting

Next Quarter Plan (Pending Funding)

In the next quarter, as donations increase, we will:

1. Finalize prioritization of critical cases for immediate intervention.
2. Begin funding initial treatments where partial funding can save lives (starting with the most urgent and time-sensitive cases).
3. Share clear updates on supported cases, treatment types, and verified outcomes.
