Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Using Soccer to Prevent Crime and Empower Youth project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned training and mentorship activities have not yet begun.
In many urban areas across Kogi, Nasarawa, and Benue States, young people continue to face daily pressure from crime, gangs, and unsafe environments. Limited access to safe spaces and structured activities leaves many without positive outlets for their energy and growth.
Without guidance and engagement, some youths are drawn into theft, violence, and other harmful activities. This affects not only their future but also the safety and stability of their communities.
This project is designed to create safe environments where young people can participate in soccer training combined with life skills sessions. Through regular interaction with trained coaches, they will learn teamwork, discipline, decision-making, and respect.
With consistent support, these activities can help redirect energy toward positive goals, strengthen peer relationships, and reduce exposure to crime.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this program can begin and reach young people who need it most.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
