During the second quarter of 2026, the SAI Foundation delivered 2,381 pounds of food to its partner animal shelters, helping provide rescued dogs with the consistent nutrition they need to recover and thrive.
Good nutrition can make a remarkable difference. Dogs regain healthy weight, their coats become fuller and shinier, and their energy returns. Animals that once stayed at the back of the shelters begin coming forward to greet visitors and that confidence can make all the difference in helping them find a permanent home.
By covering a significant portion of the shelters’ food needs, SAI also allows its partners to dedicate more of their limited resources to medical care, rehabilitation, vaccinations, and finding the right family for each animal. It is a vital part of turning a rescue into a successful adoption.
These results are made possible by our donors. Every delivery helps shelters care for more animals and gives rescued dogs a better chance at becoming healthy, confident, and ready for a new home.
The dogs are thriving. With continued support, we can help even more of them reach that same point.
Donate today and help Venezuela’s dogs continue to recover, thrive, and find loving homes.
