The Victoria Community Centre (VCC) remains a vital space of unity and support in Athens, strengthening connections and providing daily assistance to hundreds of people from more than 40 countries. From October - December 2025, we welcomed around 9289 visitors to our centre. Thanks to our partnerships, we distributed approximately 6,150 hot meals and served an average of 13,100 coffees and teas. In addition, we supported women by providing around 16,940 diapers and 8,450 sanitary pads.
At the Community Café, we welcomed new members alongside our regular visitors. Thanks to our volunteers, we launched AIfocused workshops in addition to our beginner IT classes. CVwriting support continued, as did our Greek, English, French, and German lessons - activities that play a key role in helping people secure employment and adapt to their new environment. Many community members have already found jobs thanks to this support. Our rooftop barber, also continued offering free haircuts to visitors.
In the Women and Kids Space, participation remained high. As the weather grew colder, women increasingly used the space to knit and sew warm winter accessories while enjoying a calm, supportive environment. Language and IT classes also saw strong engagement. Volunteers kept the children’s activities vibrant, offering arts and crafts, dancing, knitting, and more.
