By Amber McCammon | Programs Director
To the generous donors of our GlobalGiving Art Exploration Campaign,
We have been busy at the Virgin Islands Children’s Museum! Your charitable contributions have helped us engage in art activities during our weekly Toddler Tuesday programming in the museum, as well as outside the museum walls, during public outreach events.
Your donations in this funding cycle have also supported our efforts to add beauty, interest, and educational content to the walls of our Lightroom Exhibit area. Local marine scientist artists have been volunteering their time and using their creative skills to depict bioluminescent sea creatures with paint that already adds neon vibrance to the room and will soon really shine under blacklight.
The art exploration campaign is ongoing and we look forward to finishing the bioluminescent creatures mural and continuing to share resources that inspire children and families to explore art together.
Thank you for helping the Virgin Islands Children’s Museum offer a diverse array of art exploration content and opportunities.
Sincerely,
The VICM Team
