Dear supporters of the Virgin Islands Children's Museum's Art Exploration Initiative,
We are thrilled to share with you that exciting arts and crafts activities are being showcased at the museum as part of the MEOWseum Discovery Days initiative. Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to provide a creative and engaging experience for children and families visiting the museum.
In collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums, the VICM is celebrating the power of imagination, learning from mistakes and the joy of teamwork, with Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days and bringing the magic of the hit series to St Thomas. The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum is presenting Gabby’s Dollhouse themed activities such a-meow-zing activity stations where visitors can make their own Baby Box craft-a-riffic creations such askitty ear headbands, hamster kitties, and spa science experiments such as Mercat’s meow-gical mermaid slime, walking water, egg carton gardens and more explorations involving mixing, measuring, and creating various bubbly or colorful kitty concoctions. The museum showroom floor features a delightful array of Gabby's Dollhouse themed props and toys, a DJ Catnip’s cat-tastic dance party room, a scavenger hunt, and story times inviting young visitors to immerse themselves in the whimsical world of the beloved series. Activities will be ongoing through December with select activities happening during Toddler Tuesday programming each week from 10:30am to 11:15am and as surprise pop-ups other days and times.
Furthermore, we are excited to announce that we will have a special highlight of arts and crafts activities during the Worldwide Day of Play on Saturday, September 27, 2025. This event, part of Nickelodeon's Our World initiative, will offer families a day filled with hands-on science and arts activities, music, cultural demonstrations, traditional games, and more—all free of charge. It will be a fantastic opportunity for children in our community to discover the joy of creativity and play.
Our art exploration initiatives are ongoing: GlobalGiving Campaign Art Exploration Campaign #49363. Your continued support has been instrumental in making these arts and crafts activities possible and in providing enriching experiences for the youth in the US Virgin Islands. We are grateful for your dedication to the arts and for helping us inspire young artists and creators in our community.
Thank you for being a part of our Art Exploration Initiative and for making a difference in the lives of children at the Virgin Islands Children's Museum.
Warm regards,
Virgin Islands Children's Museum Team
