We are pleased to report that charitable giving to the Virgin Islands Children’s Museum Art Exploration campaign has helped us resume our arts and crafts for early learners and their caregivers during our weekly Toddler Tuesday programing.
Making art helps young children improve fine motor skills, improves hand-eye coordination and allows for personal expression and fun!
Caregivers enhance young artists experiential learning by talking with children about the concepts of color, shape, texture, how art makes them feel, etcetera. Families strengthen bonds and interpersonal communication skills when they collaborate on projects and talk about art together.
The Art Exploration campaign is ongoing and we are excited to continue to develop and facilitate opportunities for families to engage in artistic expression. Thank you for your support!
