To the generous donors of our GlobalGiving Art Exploration Campaign,
The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum has continued to showcase and facilitate art thanks to charitable contributions toward our ongoing Art Exploration GlobalGiving Campaign #49363.
We engage in art activities during our weekly Toddler Tuesday programming in the museum, as well as outside the museum walls as public art and during public outreach events.
Kids and families designed and decorated their own reusable shopping bags with us at the 24th annual Bordeaux Farmers Rastafari Agricultural & Cultural Vegan Food Fair. Local artists have continued to beautify our light exhibit room with marine organisms that glow under blacklight. The VICM is now the home of a Sea Walls Mural painted by local artist Jasmine Lindquist; this work depicts and aims to encourage conversations about coral bleaching and is inspiring kids to create their own coral reef scenes on the chalkboard wall inside the museum.
Thank you for helping the Virgin Islands Children’s Museum offer a diverse array of art exploration content and opportunities for visitors and the greater Virgin Islands community.
Sincerely,
The VICM Team
