To the generous donors of our GlobalGiving Art Exploration Campaign,
The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum art exploration campaign includes a Music Exploration Corner and we are pleased to report that your charitable contributions helped us beautify this popular exhibit. Chalkboard paint and vinyl record wallpaper have been added to draw eyes and ears to our music maker's space. A new drum kit rug has been ordered and we are working towards adding a full size steel pan drum so children and families can celebrate Caribbean culture by engaging with this iconic and beloved instrument.
The VICM also continues to showcase and facilitate art thanks to charitable contributions toward our ongoing Art Exploration GlobalGiving Campaign #49363.
Funding allows us to share the arts with visitors at the museum during our weekly Toddler Tuesday programming, pop-up craft stations in the museum and at community outreach events. Most recently children enjoyed some messy play with clay at the Harvest Festival at Magens Bay.
Thank you for helping the Virgin Islands Children’s Museum offer a diverse array of art exploration content and opportunities for visitors and the greater Virgin Islands community.
Sincerely,
The VICM Team
