THIRD REPORT 2026

By Veronica Perez Melendez | V.P.M.

41 People Regained Their Sight Thanks to You

Three months ago, we shared that your support was helping more people gain access to specialized eye surgery. Today, we are excited to tell you that, thanks to your generosity, 41 people have regained the opportunity to see again.

During this reporting period, we performed cataract, retina, glaucoma, and other complex eye surgeries for people who would have had little or no access to this care because of financial barriers. Behind each of these 41 surgeries is a different story, but they all share one thing in common: the chance to regain independence, return to work, care for loved ones, move around safely, and once again enjoy everyday activities that vision loss had taken away.

In the report we are sharing with you, you will find messages written by several of the people whose lives have been changed through this project. They wanted to thank you personally and share what it has meant to recover their sight. Their words are the clearest reflection of the impact your generosity continues to have.

Thank you for continuing to be part of this journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to share these results with you and hope this report gives you a closer look at how your support continues to transform lives. Together, we are making specialized eye care accessible to people who need it most.
