Our project aims to address the profound impact of war and conflict on children and families, particularly refugees, by providing essential training and therapy services. We recognize the urgent need to support refugee caregivers and parents in understanding and responding effectively to the traumatic experiences of children who have witnessed or experienced war-related violence and displacement.
In times of war, the youngest members of society suffer the most. Families are torn apart, leaving countless children orphaned or witnessing unimaginable horrors. Displacement compounds their vulnerability, exposing them to violence, neglect, and disease. Each day 5,000 children become refugees (Viva Network). Please see attached project summary for more details.
Through our comprehensive approach to trauma therapy and refugee caregiver/parenting support, we aspire to contribute to the holistic well-being of war zone children and families, fostering a future marked by healing, resilience, and hope. Please see attached project summary for more details.
By equipping refugee caregivers and parents with trauma-informed practices and providing direct therapy to affected children, we aim to mitigate the long-term impact of trauma and support the resilience and recovery of war zone communities. Please see attached project summary for more details.
