Your Support Brings Hope and Warm Meals to Gaza's Besieged Families!

By MAHMOUD ALALI | Project Leader

Dear Donor,

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving about 123,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, in addition to a severe shortage of humanitarian and food supplies that has reached the point of famine, especially in the northern part of the Strip. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that a number of families in the southern Gaza Strip are eating "one meal every two or three days", while other families depend on "sharing food" with each other.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide hot meals to about 500 families in the northern Gaza Strip and 700 families in the southern Gaza Strip. We were able to secure meat and vegetables from the local market. Thanks to your unlimited support, we were able to provide meals on a daily basis over the past two months until we reached about 1,200 families.

Our team worked hard to prepare the hot meals, as the workplace was like a beehive, with everyone working and struggling to secure what would satisfy the hungry people there. “At the end of the day, when we saw the laughter of the children and the prayers of the elderly during the distribution of meals, we felt indescribable happiness and pledged to continue this project despite all the risks surrounding us,” says Mahmoud, our team manager in Gaza.

Only with you can we continue the project of providing hot meals to the besieged people of Gaza. Your generosity makes them feel that they are not alone in what they are suffering.

Again, thanks for your generosity.
