Iftar Meals For 3000 Orphans In Gaza

Over the past four months, the Gaza Strip has endured one of its harshest humanitarian periods. Families living in the camps continue to suffer from a severe shortage of food, the collapse of essential services, and extremely difficult living conditions caused by ongoing siege and bombardment.

In response to this crisis, Umut Uluslararas Hayr Dernegi has been implementing a vital humanitarian project aimed at providing hot, ready-to-eat meals to the most vulnerable families across Gaza’s camps.

Steadfast Work Despite Extreme Challenges

Throughout the past four months, our field teams—despite immense risks and restrictions on movement—succeeded in reaching the affected camps and delivering fresh, nutritious meals that helped families endure hunger and offered a moment of comfort amid overwhelming hardship.

Who Benefited from These Meals?

Our distributions focused on:

• Families who lost their homes and now live in tents or temporary shelters
• Widowed mothers caring for their children without any source of income
• Orphaned children who lack consistent access to warm meals
• People with disabilities and the elderly who are unable to prepare food themselves
