Help a Child: Provide Access to Water in Nigeria

Dear Supporter of Serendipity Healthcare Foundation,

Since the last time you heard from us, we have been working hard to garner more funds to provide more water access to Gadan children and pleased to say that with your support, advice, generous donations we have been able to cite three additional hand pumps to the first two that you helped us with making a total of five handpumps which was our orginal target.

I am so proud and the children of Gadan with the entire community are so happy that with your support a wave of fresh air and developement has come into their community. Now that we have cited the hand pumps; we are embarking on trainings on good hygiene practices; provision of water containers to store their drinking water and trainings on good water storage, water filtration using local technology, skills to women on how to channel the slip off water to nursery beds that they can grow crops to sell at a reasonable price in order to alleviate poverty.

Until our project is fully funded, we will keep you updated on what is happening in our community in Gadan; our next phase is trainings and provision of water kegs and filters to purify their water thus we are asking for your continous support, generous donations to provide these items.

Thus far we have reduced the incidences of water related ailments from an initial 7 per 10 cases to 4 per 10 cases which I will say is as a result of provision to water sources and trainings thus far on good hygiene.
