Dear supporters, friends and family of Serendipity,
Since our last report, we have had series of trainings for the women and children of Gadan on good hygiene practices, water storage and filtration. However, our focus today will be on a girl named Taiba; see excerpts of her story.
Taiba is a ten year old girl; the first child out of a family of five, she lost her father when she was five years old and since then has not been able to continue her education because she has to help her mother look after her young ones, source for water and clean the house. Now that she has a water source close to her house she now has more time to finish her chores at home before rushing up to school, "She quotes in Hausa Language translated; I am grateful that we now have water in our community and close to my house, I am grateful to Almighty Allah and to this organisation for doing this wonderful thing", through your generous donations, Taiba's life has changed, she is a happier girl, full of life and wants to learn more to take care of her siblings and for this she says a big thank you and we are grateful for your continous support.
We will continue with our line of trainings as well as provision of water kegs, water purifers and we request you to bring us up in your conversations, tell your family and friends about us, help us in anyway you can to improve our work and make our organisation grow.
