Bring water to health clinic, 500 villagers in CAR

Thank you again for donating to this water infrastructure project for our maternal and child health center in the Central African Republic (CAR)! I'm pleased to report that all the water infrastructure work was successfully completed in February. As a result of this project’s success:

• The clinic now has running water in all rooms which is supplied by two 3,000-liter water tanks connected via electric pump to the well.
• Each room in the clinic now has a handwashing sink, and additionally, the delivery room and laboratory have a larger sink for other sanitation needs.
• The well was dug at a depth of 50 meters where high-quality water is in abundance. Since completion of the well, the more than 500 people living in the village have had access to safe drinking water for the very first time!
• We built four new latrines and two showers for patients to use once the health center is open.

We are one step closer to being able to open this maternal and child health clinic - thank you again for your support!
