Water For Life (Kampong Speu) is a project initiated and managed by the Sao Sary Foundation. The objective of Water For Life is to provide over 8,400 Cambodian villagers with convenient access to clean drinking water through the installation of 1,400 bio-sand water filters in rural households over three years.
With approximately 80 percent of Cambodians living in rural areas, poor access to safe water and sanitation disproportionately affects its rural communities.

Long term impact of this project to provide better opportunities of education to children and income generation to the adults. By drinking filtered water so all related water-born diseases will out of reach and these target beneficiaries will no long spend their money on the diseases.
