Clean drinking water for households continues to be a challenge in some rural areas in Rwanda.
We are organizing the delivery of 25 more water tanks of 5,000 liters each together with ceramic filters in December 2025. It continues to be a combination of a subsidy and a microloan from the local saving cooperative. Sustainable Villages Foundation also carries out negotiations with suppliers and organises the transport to the houses of the beneficiaries.
The subsidy is financed through the donations coming in via this platform combined with other sources of funds.
We will put photos in the next report as soon as the delivery has taken place.
