Challenge

Within the current environment in Haiti, needs are increasing due to: increasing cholera and other illnesses, limited access to emergency supplies or support (due to: lack of circulation of goods and NGO storage depots having been looted), and many non-profits have closed services.

Solution

Children accessing water will experience significant improvement in their health.

Long-Term Impact

Families gain health knowledge and access to an internationally-recognized Sawyer water filter to promote the long-term health of families (avoiding water-borne illnesses such as cholera).
