Going Home for a Visit

Often girls visit their families for a short duration.  This quarter 4 of the girls went home and returned back after a short visit to their families.

Celebrating Festivals

The Girls celebrated Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day Janmastami, Dahi Handi and several other festivals along with the other Girls of the Home. Its a time when they dress, do make up, observe traditional duties such as fasting, tying raakhis to their brothers or other male staff whom they choose to believe are in their lives as brothers.

Outdoor Trip

14 of the Aftercare Girls joined in the 10  visit to Rishikesh.  They were accompanied by our Founder Mrs. Triveni Acharya, and few other staff.  The girls love this trip and always look forward to perfoming the pujas, aarthis at the Ghats during Maha Aarti.  We have partnered with few Local Organisations who have sponsored their stay and food during the trip.

Engaging & Supporting Activities of Rescue Foundation

All the Girls who are part of the Aftercare are ever grafeful for the support they have received over the years from Rescue Founation and as part of their appreciation, they have been the fore runners in any planned activitiy and take on additional role as Mentors, Organizers, and Leaders for the new entrants.

No activity is complete without the trained and experienced girls who are part of the Aftercare and who take utomost responsibilibity in being present to support the objectives and the cause of the Organization.  It is their way of contirbuting and also a way for us to train them for future leadership
