Quaterly Report for September 2025 to December 2025

Introduction

Way Forward After the Rescue is a project of Recue Foundation being implement at their Kandivali Shelter Home.  The Project intervenes with Girls who have been released from Police Custody post Rehabilitation and in process of moving ahead with their lives.  Some of the girls go back to their families permanently but few of them decide to stay in Mumbai to continue with the studies, training or seek job opportunities.  This Project includes these girls who have choosen to stay and pursue thier dreams in the city of Mumbai.

1 Girls is working at Mac Donald Outlet & doing her College Education

1 Girl after completing her Beautician Course is working with Rescue Foundation

1 Girl is working in the Media Department with Rescue Foudnation

2 Girls work as Care Takers in the Organization

Participation In Activities at the Home

The girls are an integral part of Rescue Foundations, and they take leadershipo in most of the activities conducted during the Period

Children's Day was celebrated with a Drawing Competition

Diwali was celebrated with decorating the Home with Lights, and Rangoli in the courtyard

Preparation for Germany Visiotrs

In December 2025 we had 5 visitors from Germany.  The Group Home Girls along with others put up an impressive show of skits, dances, mimes, songs, poems written all by the girls.  The stage and the Meeting Hall was all prepared by the hard work of our girls with stitching, making paper orgiami, flowers and gifts for the visitors.  The visitors and the rest at Rescue Foundation Home were left spell bound by the talents of our Girls. 

Founders Birthday

Our Founder and President Mrs. Triveni Acharya is a very loved figure in the Rescue Foundation.  The girls refer her to "Badi Mummy" Her birthday was celebrated very grandly by cutting cake and reciting poems on all that she has done and is for the Girls.

Visiting Homes

Many of our Girls have visited their families for a short period during festivals or just to keep in touch with family members. 

Management of the After Care Home

To bring in more discipline, guidance, facilitate and counsel the girls at the Home, the management has decided to take on Honorary basis a House Mother cum Counsellor.  We have appointed a Senior Lady who comes with extensive learning and experience .  She has a  background  Masters in Social Work, Truamma Counselling, MBA in Finance. 

Conclusion

We are grateful for all the support of our donors which is instrumental in transformation and development of our girls who are on the verge of being part of responsible members of the Society.
