SpaceForce now records a billion-dollar disaster every 3-4 days. After 25 years of disasters, the Los Angeles fires were amongst some of the worst we had seen. Third Wave Volunteers have been evacuating people and animals, and providing concierge aid delivery directly to where fire victims of Altadena and Pasadena are living. The women victims want a place to go to heal and we have created wellness days with sound healing, meditation, and therapists to help transport them into a positive future.
After experiencing the profound loss of everything you've dedicated your life to, it can be incredibly challenging to find positivity and healing. Mental health is at a critical juncture, both in Los Angeles and globally. While we may not be able to assist everyone, we can begin by supporting the women of Altadena and Pasadena, who are in urgent need of care and assistance.
The wellness days can provide a much-needed respite and support by offering a safe space for healing and connection. They include activities such as mental health workshops, relaxation techniques, and community-building exercises that foster a sense of belonging. Additionally, access to resources like counseling services, holistic therapies, and wellness activities can help address trauma, promote resilience, and encourage a positive path forward.
By prioritizing their mental and emotional well-being, these wellness days can empower women to rebuild their lives and foster a supportive community. It is hoped that as the women embark on their healing journey, the positive effects will extend to their families as well.
