Third Wave Volunteers were boots on the ground after the tragic Los Angeles fires, assisting with evacuations for people and animals, and providing essential aid — including emergency WiFi support, solar power, water filtration, fresh produce, food, and general relief — to the community of Altadena.
As we prepared for the next phase of support, we developed Wellness Days with licensed therapists to care for the women of Altadena who had lost everything. Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel this program after ICE agents began threatening local women, creating fear that attending the wellness sessions could lead to arrest or family separation. Because of this, no funds were raised and the program was respectfully closed to protect the safety of the community.
With love,
Third Wave Volunteers
