Kole Intellectual Forum; a little unknown Community Based Organization, base at the post war area of Northern Uganda; with its major focus to promote quality, sustainable, & potential education of the majority of children of ordinary men in the public schools since 2016; among others cannot wait to see COVID-19 threatening the world and its community; but rather to join the rest the world to prevent the spread of the scourge using the available fund in their hands that had been/or, are being raised from the platform of GlobalGiving.
Borrowing a leaf from CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) that: even before the outbreak of COVID-19, they used to advocate for a healthy environment; especially, surfaces that are frequently touched by multiple people, such as door handles, bathroom surfaces, and handrails or human hands and faces. In deed, they advocated that, those areas should always be kept cleaned with soap and water or another detergent at least daily when facilities are in use. To avoid spread of any deadly virus, not only COVID-19, the system revealed that, more frequent cleaning and disinfection may be required in an environment base on level of use.
To prevent the spread of the viruses (COVID-19 and others), following the recommendation of CDC to maintain a healthy environment and a healthy humans; Kole Intellectual Forum, has donated 15 jerricans of 20 liters, 8 jerricans of 5 liters, and 30 jerricans of 3 liters of liquid soap to Kole District COVID-19 TaskForce to be distributed to the 15 public and nonprofit Health centers, one prison station, one central police station and the community of Kole district at large; purposely, to promote hygiene within the area and avoid the spread of COVID-19 virus and others.
