Learn little bit about the history of the organization, that:
Kole Intellectual Forum is a Community based Organization; that was formed by the indigenous children of Northern Uganda; after the end of civil that took their region close to about 30 years from 1971 to about 2005; broadly to contribute towards reconstruction of their region; and because of that, when the team of the organization came in touch of the platform of GlobalGiving; they explored it widely and broadly on how the system works that made them to believe that: the power of great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time and move the world to another level.
These made them to build confident in everything they have been doing from since 2015; although it had not been so easy for them to go through the GlobalGiving accelerator; by March, 2018 the organization managed to go through the accelerator; and since then, the organization has bounced from the tail of all the organizations on the platform of GlobalGiving to No.1 three times; in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
We are therefore confident that: with widely experience we have acquired from then; we will not only maintain our position of No.1 on the platform but we will use the four core values of GlobalGiving; that is, Listen, Act, Learn and Repeat to keep us effective and efficient to not to GlobalGiving platform, but to the communities we are serving.
We have listened and acted in many concerns of our community: from poor performance in education, to sustainable and potential education to then at present preventing spread of COVID-19 in Uganda.
