The COVID-19 global health emergency and its economic and social impacts have disrupted nearly all aspects of life for all groups in society; with the youth most affected according to the survey conducted by the team of Kole Intellectual Forum in the month of July and August 2020 at Angic Upper and Lower Local Council I, Bala Sub-County, Kole District.
For youth in the line of these findings, especially the vulnerable ones; COVID-19 is found to have posed considerable risks in the fields of education, employment, mental health and disposable income; and they are assumed to shoulder much of the long-term economic and social consequences of the crisis, if nothing is done to address their short-term economic and equity considerations.
These disaggregated evidences gathered at this research on the impact of the crisis; is expected to inform decision-making of Kole Intellectual Forum in the next meeting of what to do, on the previously developed youth projects link on GlobalGiving for boys and Girls at:
