From March 2020: about 20 girls that dropped of school, mainly from Angic public primary school, Bala Sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda, due to various reasons; and they had been recruited under the program of Kole Intellectual Forum’s Institute of Home Economics had nothing to do until on the September 30, 2020, that they reported for the program in the offices of Kole Intellectual Forum
Unfortunately, out of the 20 recruited, only 9 reported for the program, while the rests have either entered into force marriages, defilement cases or being marginalized due to bad practices of cultural norms.
Despite all these challenges, including those associated with COVID-19; Kole Intellectual Forum with its support from the donors on the platform of GlobalGiving; the organization is determined to do what it takes to give an answer to these Girls struggles; by campaigning and advocating for an equal opportunity to all mankind; especially, through its program of Home Economics.
