Is one of the criteria Kole intellectual Forum used for selection of the 10 girls they are training in their Institute of Home Economics at Aboke Sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda; when the idea of Home Economics was developed and widely disseminated in the village of Angic Cell. Bala Sub-County, within the same district where the targeted girls were selected; the organization conducted a number of tests among the underprivileged girls that had fallen out of school and they had little hope to be back to school in the nearby future; purposely, to justify their need for the program.
Unfortunately, only few of them expressed their need for it and that is the criteria the organization used for the selection of the present 10 underprivileged but needy girls that are undergoing training and performing very well at their institute.
To the surprise of the administration, the lady photo above; was well of received at the institute without any support from anybody including the parents; and, when the organization accepted to support her, she is now recognized as one of the best performing girls at the institute. Hence, Kole Intellectual Forum concluded that: not every poor person is a needy one but the poor that needs help is that one that should be supported other than supporting a person on the basis of his or her poverty.
