Because Kole Intellectual Forum understood that: through child development program that they are running as one of their course unit at their Institute of Home Economics, that, making a child learn how to read, particularly their girls, it can provide them with a deep understanding about their world and fill their brains with background of knowledge. They also expected to use this acquired background of practicing reading to make sense of what they see, hear, and read, which is suppose to aid their cognitive development today and in future.
On the other hand, reading, according to the organizational developed program of Home Economics, they assumed that: reading can give a great motivation to their girls and enable them to do better in life generally.
From the observers, they noted that: the more these girls are reading, the more their understanding and comprehending skills are improving.
It was therefore concluded by them that: the better a reader is, the easier it becomes for her/him to complete an assigned work. Through this, Kole Intellectual Forum is grateful to their donors that are continuously supporting their cause to empower the girls in Uganda,
