Through social enterprising program that Kole Intellectual Forum has developed to skill and to empower their students; especially the girls in Uganda with the life saving knowledge that will enable them to live a positive life as they are expected to be facing a number of Global challenges in the nearby future.
Within this term, (January to April 2021) of Kole Intellectual Forum’s Institute of Home Economics, the organization through its instructor, has equipped their students with the knowledge of making liquid soap with the intention of: 1) donating it to the public health units within Kole District to promote Hygiene and sanitation at the health sectors; 2) to support the organization through its program of social enter[rising; that is, to sell the product for the benefit of the community, students and the organization; and, 3) to prepare the girls in their custody to face the reality of life in future.
All these assumptions have turned to be true because of the support from the donations the organization is receiving from GlobalGiving’s platform of crowd fundraising events
The organization is planning to empower the girls in many ways and one of those is through making liquid soap.
