Since Kole District Local Government has grant Kole Intellectual Forum the permission to implement its three concepts of: donating liquid soap to promote hygeine and sanitation within its district, promote social enterprising, and to empower their girls with life skills that will support them in future on the April 06, 2021; on April 08, 2021, the organization continues with its program to donate to the health sector, Given that liquid soap plays a major role in mainatining the cleaniness of the hospital or health unit including prevention of COVID-19.
To begin with, at the health sector, the biggest health center in Kole District, that is Aboke Health Center IV and it is being run by 3 doctors and 17 nurses excluding other supporting staff according to the medical Doctor of the health unit. However, he further revealed to the team of Kole Intellectual Forum that made a countesy call to his unit that the district (Kole) has a total of 11 public health centers that are all under his control and he noticed that, this is the first time they are recieeving such important donation from the local NGO since the out break of COVID-19. He then directed the medical sister in charge of the unit to take the students around the health unit so that they can learn about the facilities and services that are availble to the unit for the public and also for them among others.
He concluded by appreciating what the organization is doing to empower the girls and he commended for what is happening at the Institute of Home Economics of the organization.
