When will I and You get committed to the changing world?
Kole Intellectual Forum, as a Community Based Organization, that is committed to its principles guided by its vision, mission and focus; the organization has a story to tell.
The story is about its mission to cause a fundamental change to the world particularly to its target customers; that is, to empower the out of school girls and boys (generally the youth) of the post war area of Northern Uganda.
Since 2016, the organization has explored through a number of issues to that far that: the organization has reached to its level of maturity. From its campaign of promoting quality education in public primary schools in Northern Uganda, to that of sustaining children at school and to that of exploring to the potentiality of children that are dropping out of school; mainly, the area of its intervention at Angic public primary school in Bala Sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda.
When will I and You get committed to the changing world?
The team of Kole Intellectual Forum has a story to tell on how it is attempting to realize the changing world not through its commitment alone, but with those of other donors including those donors at the platform of GlobalGiving; they stated that, after exploring a lot and having learnt that their campaign for quality and sustainable education has started to yield fruits; there was another concern to ensure that children that passed Uganda primary leaving Examination and had failed to go to the next level education were remaining redundant; they had to developed a concept that are meant to engaged those youth into training through up to when they give them employment.
We are today grateful to say; majority of those tools are helping the organization to realize its goal are already in place
For Girls, social enterprising: the organization has procured a service van, sewing machine, cutting machine, rolls of clothes, and finally instituted an institute of Home Economics
For boys, the organization partners with Voluntary Services Overseas and trained the 12 boys in welding fabrications; tools kit for start-up are also being put in place, ready to take of at any moment.
The question is that: When will I and You get committed to the changing world? It is therefore and individual answer, thank you.
