Kole Intellectual Forum is such an Organization that has been pursuing its organizational development by being dedicated to expand its working knowledge to individuals within the society including its target beneficiaries by enhancing and to make more effective organizational performance and change since it started its operations in Uganda in 2016.
The organization has pursed what it takes through action professionally to implement and oversee programs in progress that can increase organizational efficiency, strengthen knowledge and abilities where necessary, improve leadership and maintain the overall health of the organization.
Although, with the emerging of COVID-19, the organization since 2020 is concentrating into the implementation of the program to empower a girl child to fight for her rights and COVID-19 in Uganda; the organization on the other hand, through periodical meetings of its staff, members of Board, and General assembly, reviewing its passed programs; and implement among others what is applicable during this difficult time of COVID-19.
For the case of the young boy above, is one of those beneficiaries of the organizational program of supporting children without mothers, dead or leaving separately from their off springs in Kole District and many of them are falling out of schools because of being without mothers (A research conducted by the organization in 2017 reveals that: children without mothers suffer many instances more than those without fathers). The organization is taking them back to school, especially, those that have fallen out of schools). The boy above has come to the Organizational Institute of Home Economics for the school uniform the organization has bought for him – the one he is putting on. He is from Angic public primary school, Bala sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda. Their program is at one time reported to GlobalGiving and is linked at: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/will-benefit-75-pupils-of-apedi-and-angic-p-s-1/reports/?subid=138724
