Report on an appeal to procure food for girls
It was in August 2021 that: with the decision from the members of Board that, the project leader of Kole Intellectual Forum made an appeal to their supporters, and dedicated all the donations that would be coming in the month of September 2021 for procuring foodstuff for their girls since they would be reporting to their Institute in November 2021 after the President of Uganda partly lifted the ban on the lockdown of school closure. He permitted reopening of the Institutions and Universities by November 2021
The appeal to procure food for girls was made on the platform of GlobalGiving in September, 2021
We are therefore grateful that: with the fund we received to the organization through the platform and in relationship to that in October 2021; the members of Board have directed the project implementers to start-up a poultry unit seen above andhand below and it is recommended to be used as part of food supplement to the girls meals; however, in the same way, the organization in October 1, 2021 has launched another appeal with a big plan to construct an Institute of Home Economics in 2022 link at: Big Plan to construct an Institute, 2022, $100,000
We do appreciate the attention donors are apprehending to the cause of Kole Intellectual Forum to Empower a Girl: Fight Rights & COVID-19 in Uganda
