Radical thinking: Secrets of Development & change
“The Stone Age didn’t end because those who lived by that time ran out of stones; but, it ended because bumbling humanity found something better.” One of the Board members of Kole Intellectual Forum in his radical debate was quoted to have said this in their meeting (2022)
And on July 4, 2022, members of Board of Kole Intellectual Forum in their periodic meeting; they radically looked at an essential mystery of the future of their organization as they are opposed to their huge challenge to ensure they accomplish the task that lies before them now – building of the most modern and sophisticated Institute of home Economics of the day in Uganda – with hardship of the global economic crisis – affecting and lowing rated of donations from individuals and the corporate organizations that had been supporting NGOs; they forwarded their debate that: If change is to be explicable in the rear-view mirror, then, how can they accurately envision the future changes they are seeking, let alone achieving them? The question is that: How can they be sure of their proposals that can make things work out better, and not making them to fall a victim of the circumstance? Members of Board of the organization have raised such questions as guides to help them tract through the organizational goals with well coordinated mission
The mission of the organization (Kole Intellectual Forum) is to conduct action research through modern telecommunication and entrepreneurship skills with focus to promote quality education that is sustainable in Uganda.
Ideally, the organization intends to see that: every child that goes to school through the focus should be able to reap the meanings of such education at whatever level come rain or sun shine; but this idea is expected to feature properly when the ideal in the Institute is rolled down after its complete.
Radically, the members of Board, in their meeting, have assigned two staff to do their best to manage the campaign of fundraising on the platform of GlobalGivng; other two were asked to write massive project proposals to other donors and other two were requested to organize local fundraising to ensure the first phase of the building of the Institute is completed by December, 2022.
