Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA), given that: education is a very board approach and it is not very easy to identify a single problem or a number of problems those are link to it in terms of the poor perfamance of children in public primary schools in Uganda; a research being conducted by KIFA to find out problems and slutions those are link to each other; the organization (KIFA) is using a systematic approach that brings on board a number of stakeholders including those of KIFA and they have generated some proper questions that they are using to guide the research.
Time and again, KIFA has conducted its research in a unique way by going deeply into the subject matter. For instance, the subject matter for this case, is to find out why the pupils that are not overcrowded in a classroom with the minimum basic requirements are still performing poorly; by engaging the relevant stakeholders like the pupils and their teachers including the imported ones like what you can see in the photo - the police officer incharge of children protection unit within the district. The purpose of this research was to generate more debate hence more data.
Indeed, we are grateful to report you that: this particular research has generated a lot of data pending scritinism and analyzing before presentation can be made to the Kole District Local Government's policy makers and implementers at the nearest time possible.
