$3.1 billion of critical support for communities and causes donated in just 24 hours during the annual global celebration of generosity 2022.
Giving Tuesdays, the global generosity movement now in its 10th anniversary year, reports a wave of generosity as people worldwide committed to acts of giving and service during the annual GivingTuesday celebration on November 29, 2022.
Despite Global challenges of Global warming and war across the globe; particularly, that one of Russia and Ukriane; we have learnt with profound shock that: “GivingTuesday of Nov 29, 2022 was another impactful day of community-centered generosity, where people in every single country in the world collectively prioritized giving back and celebrated the event than any other year before. The donors were quoted to have said that, we all have something to give and we all can create change,” said Asha Curran, Chief Executive Officer of GivingTuesday (2022)
"The most magical part of GivingTuesday, the special and unique characteristic that drives this generosity movement, is that this remarkable day of giving is made possible by the many and not the few; everyday people’s kindness, acts of generosity, and commitment to a better world fueled this day of good. This swell of generosity was possible only because people showed up for each other and with each other. We know this is just a preview of the continued good that will happen throughout the rest of this year and the year to come.” according to this very particular report.
Kole Intellectual Forum, a small but effective community Based Organization in Uganda crowd fundraising on the online platform of GlobalGiving - and because of that, the organization is ranked number 1 Superstar of all the Non-profit organizations on that platform.
We are grateful to report supporters including the team of GlobalGiving that: they were joined by more than 40 donors on this day and the fund raised on that single day will be enough to buy100 bags of cement to plaster their Institute of Home Economics; a million of girls and so are expected to be empower from this Institute.
