Invest in Local solution: Indigenous have the answers
It was not very surprising to the promoters of Kole Intellectual Forum after their conclusive viewed point that: if they (the promoters), as the indigenous sons and daughters of Kole District, Northern Uganda; and if they were to come together as the actual leaders of the project implementation that would contribute towards the post conflict reconstruction of region that belong to them (the Northern region of Uganda); and then, if they were to expect anything to come good out of it; they assumed that, it would only be better if there were to fully engage their local people in deriving the solutions to those problems. An approach that they are tracking in the processes of implementation of all their projects.
The arguments were further developed into facts after wider consultations around the globe and among the academicians that sincerely accepted that: the world’s problems aren’t being solved fast enough because the people with the best solutions are being shut out; particularly the problem bearers.
With these observations, Kole Intellectual Forum is at present perusing its mission and objective with the community at hearts base on the proximity; impling that: the organization has an emotional closeness, shared sentiments and beliefs, and commonality in terms of background and experiences and because of those deliveries, the organization deliberately is considered by the community to be an oasis of hope and couragement to the community - its expected hope is to empower a thousand of their girl for self-reliance in Uganda in the shortest possible time– Great News for the community is linked at: http://goto.gg/31562
