Helping every child gain basic reading and maths skills and unlock their hidden potential

Without urgent action, the global learning crisis will become a generational catastrophe according to UNICEF report (2021). They revealed that: a result of the effect of COVID-19 including other negative impacts that are negatively affecting the global education system; in the view of their report, it potrayed that, nearly two-thirds of 10-year-old children accross the globe are unable to read and understand a simple text that made them to call for an urgent action from respective governments, other development partners and wel-wishers.
Taking note that: education systems were already failing our children even before the pandemic. COVID-19 has exacerbated this learning crisis and children in almost every country have fallen behind in their learning the report further elaborated.
It is therefore we to take action as it has already been pronounced by UNICEF; We need a global effort to tackle the learning crisis head on. Together, we can help every child gain basic reading and maths skills and unlock their potential - a promotion Kole Intellectual Forum is vigilantly joining hands with its community to see that: such learning system at Nursery level is advocated for in almost all the government public primary schools within the district where they are operating and there after to other places within the country (Uganda).
